Types of units according to KnCEdit

Cavalry : Units that sit on a horse. They have an extra attack after the artillery round, the cavalry round. It's calculated as 2 times the Strength they have, unless they attack a pike/halberdier/lancer army, in which case those armies get a double strength attack on the cavalry.

Note 1: These stats were taken from the KnC home page, and they can have been changed, the stats on the homepage are safer to use than these.

Note 2: A few units seem to be missing on the list ( ex. Howitzers). This is probably because the current maps are set to America and Asia.

Subdivision made by playersEdit

Artillery:

Artillery can be divided into 2 groups:

Pure artillery: this kind of artillery only does damage in the artillery round, so it counts on the fact that the battle ends after the artillery round. If used well, these armies can perform real massacres onto their enemies, but they are very hard to build, and the pvper has to be very selective chosing his target (ex. catapults, cannons,...).

Other artillery: these units can also perform well in pvp, but will mostly injure more than kill. A lot of these units can also be used to rank with.

Infantry:

While this subdivision isn't a real subdivision, it can be pretty useful to know the difference between a few of these units.

Infantry to rank: These are usually low wage units, used in big armies with healers, with the negative part they're prone to getting kills, and they weaken main (ex. footmen and spears)

Infantry that strengthen main and sfs: Thse units usually have high hp, and do pretty high damage, and perform average in pvp (ex. grenadiers and samurai).
